Norway has confirmed it will host the final qualifier of Euro 2020.
The country will host Euro 2020 qualifiers in 2017, 2018 and 2019, with the latter two being hosted in the Netherlands.
The country has had a successful campaign, as it has qualified for both the 2018 and 2020 tournaments, while also qualifying for the 2016 and 2017 World Cup finals.
The Norwegian national team has also won the European Championship, but failed to qualify for the 2019 World Cup.
Norway currently sit just behind France in the standings, while they are two points behind Portugal in the Euro standings.
Norway is also ranked seventh in the world, ahead of Sweden and Belgium.
It is hoped that Norway’s successful Euro 2020 campaign will lead to more interest in the sport and encourage more fans to come to the country.
