Cat translator software for iOS 7 is now available for download.
The software can be installed on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Linux.
It uses a combination of code and photos to interpret spoken text, making it easier for users to translate texts they encounter while browsing.
We’ve written about how the cat translator software works in the past.
It requires the iPhone’s Speech API, but the developers said that’s not necessary if you don’t need to do so.
In other words, it’s possible to get the software to do the work of translating text in your browser and then download the translated text as an audio file.
The cat translator uses the same audio codec as the standard text translator, so if you want to play the translated version of the same text on your phone, you’ll need to use the audio codecs included with the app.
It’s available now for $1.99.
